I’ve always been passionate about delivering results for my clients. I believe that the best sales approach includes actively listening to their needs and wants while providing them with significant value which allows them to obtain quantifiable results.
Some important core values required for someone to be successful in a business development role include being authentic and earning your network’s trust. These values were instrumental when I started my own business and helped to increase the revenue of another existing establishment (which I also invested in). These businesses are located in Manhattan and are involved in the hospitality industry.
This experience and drive led me to launch an innovative event-planning iOS/Android application. Having the foresight for seeing potential possibilities combined with a progressive marketing perspective was fundamental for the successful growth of these organizations.
Early in my career, I worked in sales at AOL and more recently as the Director of Sales, Risk & Reputation at Storyful. I’ve had over 18 years of business development experience in hospitality tech, digital, and financially-related organizations.
My commitment to my clients and my industry helped me to earn The Longford Social Club of New York Business Person of the Year in 2009. I’m honored and humbled to have been recognized with this award.
In my non-working time, I’m passionate about family, hiking, fly-fishing, and attending live music events. I feel fortunate that the importance of helping others was instilled in me at a very young age, which led me to donate my time to both the Appalachia and the Navajo Communities. I’m proud to say that my generous network of family and friends helped fund these efforts by sponsoring my 68-mile solo hike to raise money for these communities.
